Helabet is a smaller international brand that now holds a Lagos licence, and it is worth a look if you bet live and want quick OPay withdrawals. This Helabet review covers the licence, the two-part welcome bonus, the live betting tools that set it apart and the gaps you should know about before signing up.

Helabet’s operator and Lagos registration

The Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register lists Aleh Ventures Global Limited, trade name Helabet, under Online Sports Betting/Online Casino from 8 June 2026 to 7 June 2027. Soccernet quotes the licence reference SBOC/HB08JN26/0022/V1, which lines up with that June 2026 start date, although the register itself does not print numbers. Older reviews only mention a Curaçao licence, so the Lagos entry is a genuine step forward.

The company publishes very little else: no founding year, no address on its contacts page and no licence notice on the international homepage. Typing helabet.ng redirects to helabet.com. Check the LSLGA list from our legal guide if you want to confirm the entry yourself.

How the two-step Helabet bonus adds up

The official bonus page advertises 150 euros across the first two deposits. Converted for Nigerian accounts, Soccernet lists 100% up to ₦161,493 on the first deposit and 50% up to ₦80,747 on the second, which only unlocks once the first bonus is fully wagered. The minimum qualifying deposit is ₦1,615. Because the caps track the euro, the Naira figures drift when the exchange rate moves.

Each bonus must be wagered 5 times on accumulators with at least three selections at odds of 1.40 or higher, within 30 days of registration. Partial withdrawals are only allowed while the remaining balance stays at least double the bonus.

Example: a ₦20,000 first deposit adds ₦20,000 in bonus funds. Five times that is ₦100,000 of qualifying accumulators, such as twenty ₦5,000 trebles. If you then deposit ₦30,000, the 50% second bonus adds ₦15,000, which needs another ₦75,000 of turnover.

Regular promotions reported in 2026 include a 10% boost on the Accumulator of the Day, a daily 25% deposit bonus, a rebate on weekly sports stakes and a bonus after a long losing streak. See our bonus comparison for how these stack up.

Signing up and passing KYC

  1. Visit helabet.ng, which forwards to the main Helabet site, and tap Registration.
  2. Choose registration by phone or email and set the currency to Naira.
  3. Confirm the code sent to your phone or inbox.
  4. Enter a promo code at this stage if you have one and opt in to the welcome bonus.
  5. Before your first withdrawal, upload your NIN slip, driver’s licence, international passport or voter’s card, plus a selfie holding the document.

Sports range and market depth

Soccernet counted more than 40 sports and around 795 markets on a single top-flight football fixture, including passes, cards and extra-time lines. Basketball, tennis and eSports map markets are well covered too. We found no dated source confirming regular NPFL coverage, so treat domestic Nigerian football as a possible gap.

Live betting, streams and auto cash out

This is where the bookmaker stands out. Reviewers counted more than 8,000 live events at one check, with Live Tracker graphics and a win-probability indicator. Fast Bet places a pre-set stake with one tap, which helps when odds move quickly.

Cash out works on single and multiple bets, and Auto Cash Out lets you set a value at which the bet settles automatically. That is useful on a long accumulator when you cannot watch every match. Streams cover selected football, basketball and tennis fixtures, marked with a play icon. Our live betting guide explains when cashing out early makes sense.

Casino and Aviator

The casino carries Aviator, slots from Pragmatic Play, Playson, Wazdan and others, and live tables from Evolution and Ezugi. Reviewers report slot stakes from ₦10. Soccernet notes that there is no dedicated virtual football section, so virtuals fans will be better served elsewhere. Read our Aviator guide before playing crash games.

Mobile options

The official mobile page offers the Android app as an APK download, not via Google Play, so you need to allow installs from unknown sources. There is no App Store app: iPhone users add the site to their home screen from Safari as a web app. The app shares your balance and bets with the website.

Deposits, withdrawals and timing

Soccernet lists deposits from ₦250 by Flutterwave, bank card and OPay, with crypto in USDT and BTC also accepted. Withdrawal minimums are ₦550 through OPay, which is usually paid the same day, ₦1,000 by bank transfer within 24 hours, and ₦2,000 in crypto, typically in 5 to 60 minutes. KYC is required before your first withdrawal, so upload documents early to avoid a hold.

Help and contact options

Support is available 24/7 through live chat on the site and app. The official contacts page lists support-en@helabet.com for technical help and security@helabet.com for account security, and Nigerian players can also use the @helabet_NG Telegram account. There is no phone line.

Should you bet with Helabet?

Pick Helabet if you are an in-play punter who values auto cash out, OPay payouts and crypto backup. If you prefer a long-established brand with phone support and a Play Store app, BetKing is a safer starting point, and 1xBet offers similar tools with a bigger market range. Keep stakes affordable and use the account limits.

8.9/10

Our verdict on Helabet

Helabet suits live bettors who want auto cash out, quick OPay payouts and crypto as a backup, and it now holds a Lagos licence through Aleh Ventures Global Limited. The two-step welcome bonus has fair 5x accumulator terms, though its Naira value shifts with the euro. Weak spots are the lack of a phone line, no proper iPhone app and very little published history about the company. A practical second account rather than a first choice for beginners.
