GinjaBet is a licensed and lively newcomer, but too much basic information is missing to recommend it as a main account yet. This GinjaBet review sets out what is confirmed and what you should check yourself.

Ginjabet Limited, UpGaming and the Lagos register

GinjaBet launched in Nigeria in 2025, with press coverage from May and a Lagos launch event in August that unveiled rapper Blaqbonez as brand ambassador. The co-founder and CEO is Joe Richa, and the press releases describe Nigeria as the parent company’s first African venture. The parent company is not named publicly. The betting platform runs on technology from UpGaming, a B2B iGaming supplier.

The Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register lists Ginjabet Limited, trading as Ginjabet, under Online Sports Betting/Online Casino. The dates shown on the register (25 November 2026 to 24 November 2027) look like a renewal entered in advance, and the brand has claimed a Lagos licence since its 2025 launch. The site footer shows the LSLGA logo. A state licence matters because it gives you a regulator to approach if a withdrawal is refused; our guide to the legal position of betting in Nigeria explains the system.

GinjaBet promotions: acca boosts and 3+1 free bets

GinjaBet does not publish a standard welcome bonus. Its launch material promoted two ongoing offers. Acca Boosts add up to 500% extra on winning accumulators across sports, virtual and simulated games, with the boost rising as you add selections. The 3+1 Free Bet gives a free bet after every three wagers. Neither has published minimum odds, selection counts or expiry dates, so read the rules in the Promotions section before relying on them.

How a winnings boost works: a ₦500 accumulator at total odds of 20.00 returns ₦10,000, which is ₦9,500 profit. If the boost were 10% of winnings for that number of legs, you would get ₦950 extra. The 500% headline would only apply to the longest slips, which rarely win, so judge the boost by what it adds to a slip you would actually place.

Our accumulator explainer covers why longer slips win far less often.

Signing up for a GinjaBet account

  1. Visit ginjabet.com, or m.ginjabet.com on a phone, and select the registration option.
  2. Fill in the details the form asks for and create a password.
  3. Complete any phone or email confirmation the site requests.
  4. Check the Promotions and Bonuses areas of your account for current offers.
  5. Expect identity checks before a withdrawal, as required of Lagos-licensed operators, and keep a valid ID ready.

We could not confirm the exact fields or verification documents from published sources, so follow the on-screen steps and avoid sharing your password or OTP with anyone claiming to be support.

Sports and simulated football

Real sports coverage includes the Premier League, LaLiga and the NBA, with virtual sports beside them. The distinctive product is Football247, a simulated football competition that runs all day, including in the off-season, and can be mixed with real matches on the same betslip. Treat simulated results as random games with a built-in margin, not as football you can analyse. A standard accumulator bonus beyond Acca Boosts was not found, and we could not confirm NPFL markets.

Live betting and Edit Bet

Live betting is offered, according to the launch coverage and the site’s own description. The standout tool is Edit Bet, which lets you change a slip after placing it, for example swapping a selection whose team news has turned against you. Cash out and live streaming are not described in any source we found, so we have marked them as not published.

Aviator, Ginja Games and virtuals

The site menu lists Aviator, a set of exclusive instant games called Ginja Games, a casino and virtual sports. Ginja Games are quick-play titles built for the brand. Crash games and instant games are fast and easy to over-play, so set a session limit before you start. Our Aviator page explains the game’s odds.

Mobile access

GinjaBet runs a mobile site at m.ginjabet.com. We found no Play Store, App Store or APK link on the official site, so we have not listed an app. The mobile site is the safe route; be wary of any GinjaBet APK offered by an unofficial page. Compare established options on our betting apps guide.

Deposits, withdrawals and limits

The site has deposit and withdrawal pages, and the launch release mentions quick wallet transactions, but no payment methods, minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal or payout time are published. Before your first deposit, open the cashier, note which methods and limits appear, and start small. Request a small withdrawal early so you learn how long payouts take before your balance grows.

Screenshot the cashier limits and promotion rules on the day you deposit. If terms change later, you have a record to show support or the regulator.

Contacting GinjaBet

The contact page offers an email address and a message option. No phone number, live chat or opening hours are published. The brand runs social media channels, but keep account and payment issues in writing through the official email.

Who GinjaBet suits, and safer picks

GinjaBet suits bettors who enjoy simulated football, quick casino games and editing slips, and who are comfortable trying a young brand with a small deposit. If you want published payment limits, a clear welcome bonus and a long payout record, look at SportyBet or MSport first. Betting is for adults 18+ and should stay within a budget you set in advance.

6.4/10

Our verdict on GinjaBet

GinjaBet suits younger Nigerian punters who want something different from the big brands: round-the-clock simulated football, an Edit Bet tool, its own Ginja Games and acca boosts advertised at up to 500%. Ginjabet Limited is on the Lagos register and the platform runs on UpGaming technology. What holds it back is how little is published: no welcome terms, no minimum deposit, no payment list and no payout times. Open an account with a small amount, check the cashier, and test a withdrawal before trusting it with more.
