GoBet247 is a genuine, federally approved Nigerian operator, but it publishes so little in readable form that it is hard to recommend over better-documented rivals. This GoBet247 review separates what we could confirm from what you should ask the bookmaker yourself.
An Ibadan-based operator on the NLRC list
GoBet247 went live nationwide on 14 May 2022, presented at launch as a Nigerian company with general manager Damian Okosun. Its contact page gives an office at 130 Obafemi Awolowo Way, Liberty Junction, Oke Ado, Ibadan.
The National Lottery Regulatory Commission list of approved sports betting operators includes GoBet247 Limited from 14 May 2022 to 13 May 2027, and the site footer states that it is licensed by the National Lottery. No licence number is shown. We found no entry on the Lagos State register and no published Oyo State licence, despite the Ibadan base.
After the Supreme Court judgment of 22 November 2024, NLRC approval covers only the FCT, and betting in each state falls under that state’s regulator. Launch offers and what to check today
When it launched, GoBet247 announced a ₦250 sign-up free bet with no deposit, a 100% first-deposit bonus and an accumulator bonus described as up to 250%. A 2023 review recorded the deposit bonus as up to ₦100,000 with an 8x rollover on tickets of at least 10 events with total odds of 10, valid for 30 days. None of these terms appear in a 2025 or 2026 source, and the site’s promotions page did not return readable text, so we have not listed a current offer.
Why the old terms were tough: on a ₦5,000 bonus, an 8x rollover means ₦40,000 of qualifying bets, and every ticket needed 10 or more selections. At an average of 1.30 per leg, ten legs give total odds of about 13.8, so most tickets would lose. If a similar offer is running now, the expected value is low. Sports and markets
At launch the company listed football, volleyball, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, boxing, MMA and table tennis. The current site has Sport and Live sections, with live scores supplied by Sportradar. GoBet247 does not publish a sports count or market depth, and we found no recent independent count, so we cannot say whether the NPFL or lower African leagues are covered. A live betting section is linked from the homepage, so in-play betting is available. A 2023 review mentioned cash out and a Cut-1 insurance offer, but we could not confirm either on today’s site and there is no evidence of live streaming.
Casino and virtual games
Launch coverage mentioned casino and lotto games, and a 2023 review listed slots, live casino and virtual sports. The current site menu shows no casino, virtuals or Aviator links, so treat these as unconfirmed. If crash games matter to you, use our Aviator sites list instead.
Using GoBet247 on mobile
The website is built to work on desktop and phone browsers. We found no official app listing and no download link on the site. A browser shortcut on your home screen gives most of the convenience of an app without the risk of a fake APK.
Funding your account and getting paid
The site shows a payment-methods image but no text, and the most detailed review is from 2023. It listed Visa and Mastercard cards, the OPay app, Paystack and Interswitch, with wallet deposits fast and some card refunds taking up to five business days. Withdrawals went back to the original payment method. Minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal and payout times are not published in a form we could read. Our verdict on GoBet247
GoBet247 is a small Nigerian-owned bookmaker that launched in May 2022 and is on the NLRC approved list until May 2027. It publishes an Ibadan address and two phone numbers, and offers pre-match and live football betting. Beyond that, very little can be confirmed: current bonuses, minimum deposit, withdrawal limits and payout times are not readable on its site, and no state licence was found. It may suit local punters who know the brand, but most readers will get clearer terms elsewhere.
