KoretBet is not a bookmaker to join right now. This KoretBet review is a status check rather than a recommendation: the site is offline for maintenance and its Lagos licence entry has lapsed, so there is nothing current to sign up for.

Koret Gaming Network and the state of its licences

KoretBet is run by Koret Gaming Network Nigeria Limited. In April 2023 it relaunched with a revamped site and announced a partnership with Italian club SSC Napoli as the club’s Africa betting partner, with prizes of match tickets in Naples promoted through its social channels.

Two regulators have listed the company. The National Lottery Regulatory Commission’s approved list shows Koret Gaming Network Nigeria Limited with a five-year permit from 28 March 2023 to 27 March 2028, and the NLRC named KoretBet among cleared operators in October 2023. Since the Supreme Court judgment of 22 November 2024, though, NLRC permits only cover the Federal Capital Territory. The Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register lists the company under the trade name “Korebet” for Online Sports Betting/Online Casino from 14 May 2025 to 13 May 2026. That date has passed, and we found no renewal.

A lapsed Lagos entry does not prove wrongdoing, but it means you cannot currently rely on the Lagos regulator if a dispute arises. Check the register again before depositing if the site returns.

Our page on Nigeria’s betting laws explains why the state licence matters.

KoretBet bonuses: what was offered and what to check

At its 2023 relaunch KoretBet advertised a 130% bonus on deposits plus “super odds”, without published caps or rollover rules. Some listings, including our own earlier record, quoted a much larger first-deposit bonus that we could not verify anywhere. No offer is live while the site is down.

How to value an offer if one returns: on a 130% match, a ₦2,000 deposit would add ₦2,600. With a hypothetical 5x rollover you would need ₦13,000 of qualifying bets; at 10x, ₦26,000. Ask for the cap, the rollover, the minimum odds and the expiry before you deposit, and compare the result on our bonus comparison.

Registering once the site returns

  1. Check that koretbet.com loads its normal homepage rather than the maintenance notice.
  2. Look up the company on the Lagos register and confirm a licence end date in the future.
  3. Read the published terms, including withdrawal rules and the bonus conditions.
  4. Register with your own phone number and complete any SMS or email confirmation.
  5. Upload valid ID before your first withdrawal so verification does not hold up a payout.

Until step 2 checks out, we would not open a new account.

Sports and markets

When the site was active, KoretBet described a wide range of sports markets with live betting options. We cannot confirm today’s coverage, NPFL availability or market depth because no sportsbook pages are reachable. If you want local football tips meanwhile, see our NPFL predictions.

Live betting, casino and other features

Live betting was promoted in 2023, but we cannot verify live betting, cash out, streaming, virtuals, Aviator or casino games while the site is offline. We have marked all of these as not published rather than guess.

App and mobile access

We found no KoretBet app on the Play Store or App Store and no official APK. Be careful with any “KoretBet APK” on third-party sites while the brand is offline: an unofficial download from a dormant brand is a common route for scams.

Payments and getting your money back

No deposit methods, minimums or payout times are currently published. The 2023 launch material mentioned fast payouts but gave no figures. If you still have a balance on an old account, write to the operator through its official social media pages and keep copies of your account details, last deposit and any bet slips. If you get no reply, you can raise the matter with the NLRC, which still lists the company.

Support

KoretBet said in 2023 that customer service ran 24/7 and pointed customers to its Facebook, Instagram and X (Twitter) accounts under the koretbet name. No current phone number, email or live chat is published on the maintenance page.

What to use instead of KoretBet

For now, KoretBet belongs on a watch list, not in your app drawer. If you want a Lagos-licensed alternative with full terms published, see our BetKing review or the wider list of Nigerian betting sites. We will update this page if the site returns and its licence is renewed. Betting is for adults 18+ only.

Our verdict on KoretBet

KoretBet is not a bookmaker we can recommend in October 2026. Its website shows a technical maintenance page, its Lagos register entry under the name Korebet expired on 13 May 2026, and no current bonus, payment or support details are available. Koret Gaming Network Nigeria Limited still appears on the NLRC list until 2028, but that permit only covers the FCT after the Supreme Court ruling. If you hold a balance, contact the operator in writing; if you are choosing a new bookmaker, pick one with a current Lagos licence.
