Betfarm is a smaller Nigerian bookmaker that mixes sports betting with casino and poker. It may suit punters who want a poker room in the same wallet, but this Betfarm review cannot call it a safe first choice, because we found no current entry for it on the Lagos or NLRC registers in October 2026.

Betfarm’s company and missing licence

Reviews name the operator as Betfarm Entertainment Ltd, a Nigerian company (RC 1482975) that started taking bets in 2018. Older reviews quote a licence reference, PPL 08059, described as issued by the Government of Nigeria, without naming the regulator, and one review also mentions Curaçao. Neither claim could be matched to a current register.

When we checked the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register and the NLRC approved list, neither showed Betfarm or Betfarm Entertainment. A recent comparison site also lists it as unlicensed. That leaves you with no regulator to escalate a dispute to, which matters more than any bonus. Our page on betting law in Nigeria explains why a state licence is your main protection.

If you already hold a Betfarm balance, consider withdrawing it in smaller amounts and keep screenshots of your bets and transaction history.

Bonuses at Betfarm

A 2026 review lists a ₦60,000 welcome package for new customers. Earlier write-ups explain how it adds up: a 100% match on each of the first three deposits, up to ₦20,000 each, which you must claim in the Bonus section before depositing. Those older reviews describe rollover on accumulators of five or more selections at odds of 2.00 and a 7-day limit, but we could not confirm the current wagering, so the offer box shows those terms as not published.

Worked example under the older terms: a ₦20,000 deposit would bring ₦20,000 of bonus. The older reviews do not give the multiplier, but at 5x, for instance, you would need ₦100,000 of qualifying accumulators. A five-leg slip at 2.00 per leg is priced around 32.00, so most such slips lose. Treat the bonus as a long shot.

Reviewers also mention a ₦500 free bet for a ₦100 deposit (first goalscorer market only), a 15-leg accumulator insurance paying 500% of stake if one leg fails, and rebates on slot and live casino losses. Compare these with licensed sites on our bonuses page.

Registering with Betfarm

  1. Open betfarm.com and tap Register, then enter your details. You must be 18 or older and living in Nigeria.
  2. Confirm your phone number or email if prompted.
  3. Go to the Bonus section and opt in to the welcome offer before you make a deposit.
  4. Deposit at least ₦100.
  5. Expect a request for identity documents on your first withdrawal.

Sports and the live schedule

Football is the focus, with reviewers counting more than 25 sports and over 2,500 markets on popular matches. The live schedule is the standout: Betfarm advertises more than 40,000 live events a month. A Multi View screen lets you follow up to three in-play games at once. Bet Builder is not offered. Use our live betting guide to plan in-play stakes.

Streams and cash out

Reviewers report streams for selected matches, but describe them as lagging by 10 to 20 seconds, which is a real disadvantage when odds move quickly. Cash out is available, and the sportsbook app reportedly includes partial and advanced cash out options.

Casino and poker

Betfarm runs separate sportsbook, casino and poker products. The casino carries around 1,000 slots plus live roulette, blackjack and baccarat, and the poker room is described as hosting more than 100 tournaments a month. We could not confirm Aviator or virtual sports, so they show as not published.

Apps

Betfarm offers sportsbook, casino and poker apps. iPhone users download from the App Store, while the Android apps come from Betfarm’s own app page as APK files. A mobile site works in common browsers, including Opera Mini, which helps on older phones.

Deposits and withdrawals

A 2026 review gives a ₦100 minimum deposit and a ₦1,000 minimum withdrawal. Deposits can be made with Verve, Visa or Mastercard debit cards, bank transfer, USSD, Paystack and Quickteller, and withdrawals go to a bank account or card. Betfarm does not publish a payout time that we could find, and an older review mentioned up to three working days. Without a regulator behind the account, avoid leaving large sums on the site.

Support

Reviews list live chat, an internal messages inbox, email at support@betfarm.com and a phone line, +234 814 990 6640, staffed from 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Saturday. Phone support is therefore not round the clock.

Should you use Betfarm?

Betfarm may interest poker players who also bet on football, but the missing licence is a serious drawback. Most punters are better served by a bookmaker on a state register, such as Bet9ja or 22Bet.

6.6/10

Our verdict on Betfarm

Betfarm is a Nigerian sportsbook with a large live schedule, a poker room and a low ₦100 minimum deposit, which gives it a niche among local sites. The problem is trust. We could not find Betfarm or Betfarm Entertainment Ltd on the Lagos or NLRC registers, and most detailed reviews are several years old. Until a current licence is published, we suggest keeping balances small or choosing a bookmaker that appears on a state register. Poker players who still want to try it should withdraw winnings regularly.

Betfarm FAQ

Betfarm Entertainment Ltd is a registered Nigerian company, but we found no entry for Betfarm on the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register or the NLRC approved list in October 2026. Older reviews quote a reference PPL 08059 without naming a regulator. Treat it as unlicensed until a current licence is published.
