On this page
Betika is one of the biggest names in Kenyan betting and also runs a licensed site in Ghana. This Betika review comes to a plain conclusion: in October 2026 we could not find a Nigerian Betika site, a Nigerian licence or a reliable set of Naira terms. Until that changes, it is not a choice we can recommend for players in Nigeria.
Who runs Betika, and what the Nigerian registers show
Betika is a Nairobi-based, pan-African bookmaker offering sports betting, casino and virtual games through its website, apps, SMS and USSD. Goal’s Ghana review says it has operated since 2016 and holds a licence from the Gaming Commission of Ghana for its Ghana site; another source gives 2015 as the founding year, so we leave that field blank.
For Nigeria, the evidence is negative. We checked the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register, updated on 27 October 2026, and the NLRC operator list for any entry containing the Betika name and found none. When we requested the address commonly given for a Nigerian version, betika.com/ng, the site served the Kenyan page instead. No Nigerian state regulator lists the brand, so its licence status is shown as none.
That matters because a licence is what gives you a regulator to complain to if winnings are withheld. Our guide to betting legality in Nigeria explains why the state register is the place to check first.
The “₦50,000 Betika bonus” and other claims online
One Nigerian review site describes a Betika Nigeria welcome bonus of 100% up to ₦50,000, with a 10x rollover at minimum odds of 3.0 over 30 days and a ₦100 minimum deposit. The same page gives no licence number or official address, contradicts itself on whether OPay and PalmPay are supported, and links its “licence” label to its own category page. We cannot confirm any of it, so the offer box shows nothing.
Even if that offer existed, check the maths: a ₦10,000 bonus at 10x needs ₦100,000 of bets, and every one of them must be priced at 3.0 or more. At odds of 3.0 the implied chance of each bet winning is about 33%, so most bonus balances would run out long before the rollover is complete. Compare realistic offers on our bonuses page.
Many near-identical “Betika Nigeria” articles sit on unrelated university and blog domains. They are not Betika pages. Never enter card details, bank logins or a BVN on a site you reached through one of them.
How to check before you try to register
- Type the address yourself rather than following a link from a blog post or social media advert.
- Look for a Nigerian licence statement in the site footer that names a state regulator such as the Lagos authority.
- Look up the company name from that statement on the regulator’s own register.
- Confirm that the site lets you open an account in Naira with a Nigerian phone number.
- If any step fails, do not deposit. Pick a bookmaker from our list of betting sites in Nigeria instead.
What Betika offers in its home markets
In Kenya the site promotes jackpot competitions, multibet slips, crash games and a casino, and it supports betting by SMS and USSD for players without smartphones. Goal’s Ghana review confirms live betting next to pre-match markets and an app for Android and iOS downloaded from the website. None of this is available to a Nigerian account, so the feature checklist on this page stays blank rather than borrowing Kenyan or Ghanaian details.
Apps, payments and support for Nigerian users
Because no Nigerian site exists that we could verify, there are no confirmed Naira payment methods, minimum deposits, withdrawal times or Nigerian support lines. Treat any APK file labelled “Betika Nigeria” from a third-party site as a security risk. Fake betting apps can capture login details and one-time codes, and some ask for broad phone permissions such as reading your SMS. A bookmaker that genuinely serves Nigeria will offer its download from its own licensed website, not from a file-sharing link. If you want a light app built for Nigerian networks, our betting apps guide compares licensed options.
Better choices for Nigerian punters
If Betika appealed because it is a pan-African brand with low stakes and simple jackpots, look at betPawa, another brand that operates across several African countries, or Bangbet. Check the licence section of each review before you sign up. We will revisit this review if Betika publishes a Nigerian licence and site. Whatever you choose, keep betting to money you can afford to lose; our responsible gambling page has support contacts.
Our verdict on Betika
Betika is a well-known bookmaker in Kenya and Ghana, but we found no Nigerian site, no Nigerian licence and no reliable Nigerian terms in October 2026. Its main domain loads the Kenyan site, and it is absent from the Lagos and NLRC lists. That makes it unsuitable for Nigerian punters right now, and any page promising a Betika Nigeria bonus should be treated with suspicion. Choose a Lagos-licensed bookmaker instead, and revisit Betika only if it publishes a Nigerian licence.

Betika FAQ
We found no Nigerian Betika site in October 2026. The betika.com address served the Kenyan site, and Betika is not on the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register or the NLRC operator list. Treat pages offering Betika Nigeria accounts with caution.
No Nigerian licence could be found. One review site claims an NLRC licence but gives no number, and the NLRC list does not include Betika. Betika is licensed in other countries, such as Ghana by the Gaming Commission of Ghana.
A figure of 100% up to ₦50,000 circulates online, but it comes from a single review with no official source. With no verified Nigerian site, there is no verified Nigerian bonus. Do not deposit to chase it.
We could not find an official Nigerian Betika app. An APK offered by a third-party site under that name could be a fake, so do not install it or enter personal or bank details. Use apps from licensed Nigerian bookmakers instead.
If you liked Betika for its low stakes and jackpots, look at betPawa, another brand active across several African countries, or Bangbet. Both have review pages on this site covering their Nigerian licence status, payment methods and apps.
