Our Ogabet review weighs a small Nigerian bookmaker with a 600% three-deposit bonus against thin published terms, an NLRC permit whose listed validity has just ended and unclear payment details.

  10. Should you bet with Ogabet?

Ogabet is a home-grown bookmaker to approach with caution. This Ogabet review found a generous-sounding bonus, but the operator publishes very little about its licence, bonus rules and payments, and those gaps matter more than the headline percentage.

Ogabet Games Global and the licence question

Ogabet is run by Ogabet Games Global Limited, a Nigerian company. Its trading name appears on the National Lottery Regulatory Commission approved list under fixed-odds and parimutuel operators, with a five-year validity from 12 October 2021 to 11 October 2026. That listed period has now ended, and when we checked we could not see a renewal or a permit number.

Two more points matter. Since the Supreme Court judgment of 22 November 2024, an NLRC permit only covers the Federal Capital Territory, with states licensing betting within their own borders. Ogabet was also named in a Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority warning list of operators without a Lagos licence; the authority later said older circulating lists were outdated, so check its register for the current position. We found no state licence number for Ogabet.

Before depositing, ask Ogabet support for a copy of its current licence certificate and the regulator’s name. A reputable operator will provide it. Read our guide to betting licences in Nigeria for what to look for.

The 600% three-deposit bonus

Ogabet’s welcome offer is advertised as 600% spread across your first three deposits: a 100% match on the first, 200% on the second and 300% on the third. A 2026 review reports a ₦100 minimum qualifying deposit and says virtual and casino games do not count towards the bonus.

What is missing is the part that decides its value: wagering requirement, minimum odds, maximum bonus and expiry are not published.

How to judge it: deposit ₦1,000, ₦1,000 and ₦1,000 and the advertised percentages add ₦1,000, ₦2,000 and ₦3,000 in bonus money, ₦6,000 in total. If the rollover were 10x the bonus, you would need ₦60,000 of qualifying bets before any of it became cash. Ask support for the exact multiplier before accepting.

During the 2026 World Cup, Ogabet also ran a ₦20 million prize campaign, a 25% weekend deposit booster up to ₦5,000 and a ₦1,000 referral free bet. Compare clearer offers on our bonuses page.

Registering at Ogabet

  1. Go to ogabet.com and tap Register.
  2. Choose the quick form (mobile number and password) or the full form, which also asks for your name and email.
  3. Accept the rules and tap the button to send a registration code to your phone.
  4. Enter the SMS code to verify your number and activate the account.
  5. Expect an ID check before your first payout, so keep a government ID ready to upload.

Each person may hold only one account, and your username cannot be changed later.

Sports and markets

Football and basketball are the main sports, with accumulators and live markets on popular fixtures. Third-party guides mention around 19 sports, but we could not confirm the current number or market depth. Before you place a long slip, our accumulator calculator shows the total odds and return.

Live betting and in-play features

The site advertises live betting, and its World Cup campaign included a free bet for punters who lost a live bet. We could not verify whether cash out or live streaming is available, so do not assume either when you place a bet.

Virtual games and casino

Ogabet lists virtual games and a casino section with slots, crash games, table games and lotto-style draws. We found no confirmation that Aviator itself is offered. If virtual football interests you, our virtual football guide explains how these computer-generated matches are settled.

Mobile access

A 2026 review found only the mobile website and no current official app download. Older guides referred to an Android app, but we could not find one. Use ogabet.com in your phone browser and ignore APK files offered on unofficial pages.

Deposits and withdrawals

Ogabet does not publish its payment methods or limits on pages we could access. Older guides list Interswitch, Paystack and prepaid vouchers with ₦50 minimums, but those figures are not current, so check the cashier after logging in. Make a small first withdrawal to learn how long payouts take before you build a larger balance.

Customer care

The homepage promises 24/7 customer support, and guides list live chat and email. No phone number is published. Use support to request the licence certificate and full bonus terms in writing.

Should you bet with Ogabet?

Ogabet might appeal to small-stakes punters who like a multi-deposit bonus. Anyone who wants clear rules, a published state licence and documented payouts should start with BetKing or NairaBet. Betting is for adults aged 18 and over; set limits and never chase losses.

6.3/10

Our verdict on Ogabet

Ogabet is a small Nigerian-owned bookmaker that offers sports, live betting, virtuals and casino games, plus a bonus spread over your first three deposits. The trouble is how little it publishes: no licence number, no wagering terms, no payment limits and no confirmed app. Its NLRC permit, as listed, ran until 11 October 2026, and renewal was not visible when we checked. Until the operator publishes clear terms, larger and better-documented bookmakers are the safer choice.
