  10. Should you bet with ZEbet?

ZEbet has a well-known European parent and straightforward withdrawal rules, but its Nigerian licence status is unclear in 2026. In this ZEbet review that gap outweighs everything else, because it decides who you could turn to if a payout goes wrong.

ZEturf’s Nigerian arm and a licence that needs checking

ZEbet is the trading name of ZEgaming Nigeria Limited, part of the ZEturf Group, a European horse racing and sports betting operator. The ZEbet brand was created in 2014 and the Nigerian site launched in 2020, offering sports, virtuals and casino games.

ZEbet has always presented itself as licensed by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, and in October 2023 the NLRC named it among operators it had cleared. However, the current NLRC list of approved operators shows ZEgaming Nigeria Limited with a term of 27 March 2020 to 26 March 2025, and no renewal entry. We also found no ZEbet entry on the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register.

Two points matter here. First, an NLRC licence has covered only the FCT since the Supreme Court judgment of 22 November 2024, so even a renewed NLRC approval would not replace a state licence. Second, a lapsed listing does not prove the company is unlicensed, but it does mean you should ask ZEbet support which regulator currently licenses it before you deposit. Our page on the legal position of betting in Nigeria explains why the state licence matters.

Bonuses, jackpots and the VIP club

ZEbet has advertised a welcome bonus, an accumulator bonus and a VIP club with dedicated customer service, but we could not read its current promotion terms and found no 2025 or 2026 source that states the amount, rollover or expiry. We have left those fields as not published rather than repeat old figures.

One product that has been reported in detail is the ZE Daily Jackpot: a ₦100 ticket on the exact scores of four preselected football matches, with a rolling prize that one article put above ₦6 million. Correct-score jackpots are hard to win; treat the stake as the cost of entertainment.

How to judge any ZEbet offer: if a deposit bonus is ₦5,000 with a 5x rollover on the bonus, you would need ₦25,000 of qualifying bets before withdrawing; if the rollover applies to deposit plus bonus (₦10,000), it doubles to ₦50,000. Ask which balance the rollover applies to. Our rollover explainer shows the full maths.

Creating and verifying a ZEbet account

  1. Open zebet.ng on your phone or computer and choose Register.
  2. Enter your Nigerian phone number, email address and a password, and confirm you are 18 or over.
  3. Confirm your phone number with the code sent by SMS.
  4. Add a payment account under your profile. It must be a bank account in your own name.
  5. Before any withdrawal over ₦250,000, upload a driver’s licence, international passport or national ID card, plus a recent document showing your billing address.

Sports, racing and virtual games

Football is the main product, with live and pre-match betting on the major leagues. ZEturf’s racing roots show in its dog racing and virtual racing offer, and virtual football runs around the clock. ZEbet does not publish a sports count, and we found no recent independent count, so we cannot say how deep its coverage of African leagues or the NPFL is today. If you build long accumulators, check any ticket in our accumulator calculator first.

In-play betting and cash out

ZEbet’s launch material and later coverage confirm live betting on football and other sports. We could not confirm whether cash out or live streaming are currently available, so do not choose ZEbet on the assumption that you can settle a bet early.

Casino and virtuals

A casino section and virtual sports are part of the product, according to the operator’s own descriptions. We found no reliable 2025 or 2026 source confirming Aviator or listing the casino’s size or providers. If crash games are what you want, our list of Aviator sites covers operators where it is confirmed.

Mobile access

ZEbet has described a mobile app, but we found no current Play Store or App Store listing or APK details we could verify. The mobile website works on any smartphone browser, which is the safer way in until the app source is clear. Avoid any ZEbet APK shared on social media or messaging apps.

Deposits and withdrawals in Naira

Older coverage lists Visa, Mastercard and Verve cards, Paystack, Interswitch’s Quickteller and direct bank deposits, with card and wallet deposits credited instantly. ZEbet does not publish a minimum deposit we could read.

The withdrawal side is clearer. According to a review updated in October 2026, the minimum is ₦1,000, there is no fee, and ZEbet aims to process requests within 24 hours, after which the bank’s own timing applies. Requests show as pending until approved. Funds linked to open bets, or deposits that have not been wagered, can delay a payout. Above ₦250,000, identity checks under EFCC rules apply. Save your bank details and send ID early if you expect a large win.

Contacting ZEbet

ZEbet describes its customer service as available around the clock, with a dedicated line for VIP members, but we could not confirm a current phone number, email address or live chat. Use the contact options shown when you are logged in, and keep screenshots of any withdrawal dispute.

Should you bet with ZEbet?

ZEbet may appeal to punters who already use it for virtual racing and want simple ₦1,000 withdrawals. New customers should wait until its current licence is clear. If you want a bookmaker with a confirmed state licence and published terms, read our BetKing review or the MSport review, and compare others on our betting sites ranking.

7.2/10

Our verdict on ZEbet

ZEbet has a respectable parent in France's ZEturf Group and clear withdrawal rules: ₦1,000 minimum, no fee, a 24-hour processing target and ID checks only above ₦250,000. The problem is licensing and transparency. Its only Nigerian licence entry we found, on the NLRC list, ran out in March 2025 with no renewal shown, it is not on the Lagos register, and its current bonuses and limits could not be confirmed. Until the licence is clarified, most punters are better served by a bookmaker with a current state licence.
