YangaSport is a small Nigerian football bookmaker with a national licence but no Lagos entry, so whether it is a good choice depends on where you live and how you bet. This YangaSport review sets out what the licence means today, the offers that are worth knowing about and the facts its operator does not publish clearly.

Yangagames Technologies and the NLRC licence

The site is run by Yangagames Technologies Limited, listed on the National Lottery Regulatory Commission’s approved operators page as Yanga Games Technologies Limited, brand Yanga Sports, with a five-year sports betting licence from 24 May 2022 to 23 May 2027. A related company, Yanga Games Limited, also powers a national lottery partner on the NLRC list.

The licence comes with a clear limitation. Since the Supreme Court judgment of 22 November 2024, NLRC licences only cover the Federal Capital Territory, and we did not find YangaSport on the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register. If you live in Lagos, a bookmaker with an LSLGA entry gives you a regulator you can complain to. Our betting law explainer covers state licensing in more detail.

Bonuses: what is clear and what is not

Two October 2026 reviews describe the welcome offer very differently. Complete Sports reports a match spread across the first four deposits worth up to ₦45,000 in total, while BettingExpert describes a 200% offer split over two deposits. Both agree the qualifying deposit is ₦500 and that bonus funds must be played on accumulators of five or more selections, but the odds threshold and expiry differ. Because of that, we show the welcome terms as not published and suggest reading the promotion page before you opt in.

The more distinctive offers concern accumulators. BettingExpert lists an AccaBonus of up to 600% on slips of three or more selections priced at 1.20 or higher, with the bonus payout capped at ₦25,000. Its Cut-1 and Cut-2 rules pay a share of potential winnings when one or two legs of a big accumulator lose.

Example: you stake ₦200 on a 12-leg accumulator with total odds of 400, so the full return would be ₦80,000. If exactly one leg loses, Cut-1 pays 10% of the potential winnings, about ₦8,000. If two legs lose, Cut-2 pays 5%, about ₦4,000. You need at least ten legs at 1.30 or higher and the ₦200 minimum stake.

That safety net is useful, but it does not change the long odds of a 12-fold landing. Our accumulator guide explains the maths, and the bonuses page compares acca offers across bookmakers.

Joining YangaSport

  1. Visit yangasport.com in your phone browser and select Register.
  2. Type in the phone number you use for mobile banking, then pick a password you do not use elsewhere.
  3. Confirm the verification code sent by SMS.
  4. Add your name and email so you can recover the account later.
  5. Prepare a valid ID: BettingExpert says identity checks are required before withdrawals of ₦200,000 or more.

Football first, little else

The sportsbook is built around football, with the Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and continental competitions, plus basketball, tennis, volleyball, cricket, boxing and ice hockey. Markets cover 1X2, double chance, both teams to score, correct score, half-time/full-time and handicaps. The menu also shows a Y League section. We could not confirm NPFL coverage from published sources.

Live betting and streaming

In-play betting is offered with live statistics, possession figures and head-to-head data. One review mentions a YangaTv stream on selected games, but we could not confirm it elsewhere, and neither review mentions cash out, so do not count on either. Our live betting guide has tips for in-play markets.

Mobile access instead of an app

There is no Android or iOS app. The website is optimised for phone browsers and works on both systems, so add a home-screen bookmark for quick access. A games section appears in the menu, but neither review describes a casino, Aviator or virtual sports in enough detail to confirm them.

Paying with Naira

Deposits start at ₦100 and go through Paystack (card, bank transfer and Visa QR) or OPay (card, bank, transfer, USSD and QR code). The maximum deposit is reported as ₦1,000,000. YangaSport does not publish a clear minimum withdrawal or payout time; one review gives ₦5,000 as the minimum, so check the withdrawal page before depositing a small amount.

Support channels

Reviewers list live chat, email at cs@yangasport.com, the phone line 09096008888 and WhatsApp on 09087008888, plus Facebook and Instagram. Support is described as available around the clock.

Who might use YangaSport

YangaSport suits FCT-based football punters who place small accumulators and value the Cut-1 rule. Lagos residents and anyone wanting an app, a wide sportsbook or clear bonus terms should start with a bookmaker on the Lagos register, such as NairaBet or Betjara. Only stake what you can afford to lose.

7.5/10

Our verdict on YangaSport

YangaSport is a small Nigerian bookmaker for football punters who stake modest amounts on accumulators and like a Cut-1 safety net. It sits on the NLRC approved list to 2027, but that licence now applies to the FCT, and we found no Lagos entry. There is no app, the sports menu is thin, and its bonus terms are reported differently by different reviewers. Use it as a niche extra, not as your main account.

YangaSport FAQ

Yes, by the NLRC. Its approved operators list shows Yanga Games Technologies Limited, brand Yanga Sports, licensed from May 2022 to May 2027. Since the November 2024 Supreme Court ruling, NLRC licences only cover the FCT, and we did not find YangaSport on the Lagos register.
