Megapari offers deep markets, a sports bonus with light wagering and fast crypto payouts, but no Nigerian licence and few local payment options. This Megapari review explains why that trade-off makes it a site for confident, experienced bettors only.

Megapari’s owner, Anjouan licence and what that means for you

Megapari launched in 2019 and serves many countries from one international platform. The site does not name its operating company on the about or contacts pages, and review sites disagree about it, so we cannot confirm who runs it.

The licence quoted by the operator and by recent reviews comes from the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, part of the Union of Comoros, under number ALSI-112310012-F15. Megapari has no licence from the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority, any other Nigerian state regulator or the NLRC.

With an offshore-only licence, a Nigerian regulator cannot force a payout or investigate a closed account. Your only route is the operator itself or the Anjouan authority. Keep balances low and withdraw winnings regularly.

Our page on the legal status of betting in Nigeria explains why a state licence matters.

How the two-deposit sports bonus works

New customers can claim a 100% sports bonus on each of the first two deposits, reported at up to ₦181,000 each and ₦362,000 in total. Recent reviews put the qualifying deposit at about ₦9,100. The second deposit must be made within 24 hours of finishing the wagering on the first bonus.

The conditions are friendlier than many casino-style offers. You wager the bonus five times on accumulators with at least three selections, each priced at 1.40 or higher, within 30 days.

Worked example: deposit ₦10,000 and receive a ₦10,000 bonus. Five times the bonus is ₦50,000 of qualifying stakes. That could be ten ₦5,000 trebles where every leg is at least 1.40. Singles, and accumulators with a leg below 1.40, do not count. Once ₦50,000 has been staked, the remaining bonus balance becomes withdrawable.

Only one welcome bonus is allowed per person, household or device, and it cannot be combined with other offers. Weigh it against local deals on our bonuses page.

Signing up and passing verification

  1. Open megapari.com or the app and press Registration.
  2. Choose sign-up by phone number or by email, and set Nigerian Naira as your account currency, because it cannot be changed later.
  3. Select the sports welcome bonus in the form if you want it (leave it unticked if you would rather play without wagering rules).
  4. Confirm the code sent by SMS or email, then complete your profile with your full legal name, date of birth and address.
  5. Upload a clear photo of your national ID or passport, and proof of address if asked, before you request a withdrawal.

Reviewers note that unverified accounts are the main source of payout delays, so finish the identity check while you are still placing your first bets.

Markets: strong on Europe, light on the NPFL

Megapari lists more than 40 sports with over 1,000 events a day. Top European football leagues carry the deepest menus, including handicaps, player props, corners and a bet builder. Tennis, basketball, table tennis and eSports fill the gaps between football matches.

Nigerian league coverage is the weak spot: testers found NPFL fixtures missing or limited to the result and total-goals markets. If you mostly back local clubs, a domestic bookmaker with full NPFL menus will serve you better. For accumulators across European leagues, check the combined price in our accumulator calculator before you place a slip.

Betting in play, match streams and early settlement

The live section is busy around the clock and is at its best on top European leagues. Live statistics are provided, though there is no visual match tracker. Streams are available on selected fixtures only, mostly European, and reviewers found them inconsistent.

Cash out is offered on many pre-match and live bets, but not every slip qualifies; one tester could cash out only two of six bets. Treat it as a bonus feature rather than something to plan around.

Casino, Aviator and virtual sports

Beyond the sportsbook there is a casino section with slots and live tables, Aviator among the crash games, and a virtual sports area for short simulated events. A separate casino welcome bonus with free spins exists, but its wagering terms differ from the sports offer, so read them before opting in. Crash games move quickly; set a stake limit before you start.

Using Megapari on your phone

The Android app is not in the Play Store. You download the APK from the Megapari site, allow installs from unknown sources for that one install, and then switch the setting off again. It needs Android 8.1 or newer and about 90MB of space. An iOS version is offered in supported regions. The mobile website is lean and works well on 3G, so it is a reasonable alternative on low-storage phones. Our betting apps guide lists bookmakers with Play Store apps.

Deposits and withdrawals for Nigerian accounts

Nigerian accounts can fund by bank transfer from roughly ₦300 to ₦550, by Visa or Mastercard from a much higher minimum, by cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and others) or through e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller. Reviewers report that OPay, PalmPay, Flutterwave and mobile money are not available, which makes everyday Naira funding clumsier than at local sites.

Withdrawals are where crypto shines. One tester received a USDT payout in about 38 minutes, while a Skrill withdrawal took around 19 hours. Bank transfers usually take one to three working days, and card refunds can take up to a week. Megapari does not charge its own fees, but blockchain network costs and currency conversion charges can apply. Our crypto betting sites page covers wallet basics.

Contacting Megapari

Live chat runs 24/7: a bot answers first, then a human agent usually joins within a few minutes. Email goes to support@megapari.com and typically gets a reply within hours. There is also a Telegram support bot and two international phone numbers on the contacts page, but no Nigerian line. Support is offered in English and French.

Who Megapari suits, and who should skip it

Megapari fits a punter who already uses crypto or Skrill, bets mainly on European football and wants a sports bonus with light wagering. It does not suit beginners, NPFL fans or anyone who wants the protection of a Nigerian regulator. Licensed alternatives include BetKing and Betway. Bet only what you can afford to lose; you must be 18 or older.

7.8/10

Our verdict on Megapari

Megapari is aimed at experienced punters who are comfortable with crypto or e-wallets and want deep European football markets plus a sports bonus with only 5x wagering. The minimum odds of 1.40 per leg and three-leg accumulators are reasonable conditions. Regulation is the real problem: Megapari holds an Anjouan licence only, so no Nigerian regulator can help if a withdrawal is refused. Local payment options are thin and NPFL markets are sparse. Use it for a small share of your betting at most.

Megapari FAQ

Megapari is an established international bookmaker that has operated since 2019, but it is not licensed in Nigeria. Its licence comes from the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan in the Comoros (ALSI-112310012-F15). That means no Nigerian state regulator or the NLRC can handle a complaint, so keep balances small.
