  10. Who N1Bet is for

N1Bet is an international sportsbook with a Nigerian site, n1bet.ng, that stands out for Bitcoin payments, live streams and a long list of sports. This N1Bet review explains why it is a second-tier choice for most Nigerians: the licence position is weak outside the FCT, and bank withdrawals are reported to be slow.

Who operates N1Bet and the NLRC permit

The Nigerian site is run by N1 Interactive Africa Ltd, and the brand launched in 2021. Outside Nigeria the N1Bet name is operated by a different company under a Curaçao licence. For Nigeria, reviewers cite NLRC permit 0001044.

Two caveats apply. First, since the Supreme Court judgment of 22 November 2024, the NLRC only regulates betting in the Federal Capital Territory, so this permit does not cover Lagos or the other states. Second, the NLRC approved list shows N1 Interactive Africa’s sports betting period as 17 March 2021 to 16 March 2026, while its N1 Casino entry runs to January 2029. We found no N1Bet entry on the Lagos (LSLGA) register. That is why we class the licence as stated but unconfirmed. Our explainer on the legal position of betting in Nigeria covers state licensing in more detail.

N1Bet free bets and promotions

N1Bet’s welcome structure has been built around free bets rather than a cash match. Reviews describe a 10% “No Risk” free bet on the first deposit and a 10% “Allwin” free bet on the second, each up to ₦500,000, plus a ₦1,000 “Onlywin” free bet once you verify your account. The free bets are reported to work only on odds of 1.01 to 2.00. We could not find a 2025 or 2026 source confirming these terms, so the offer box shows them as not published.

Worked example under the reported terms: a ₦50,000 first deposit would earn a ₦5,000 free bet. Placed on a 1.80 selection, a win would return about ₦4,000 in profit if the free bet stake is not paid back. The 2.00 odds ceiling keeps free bet wins small.

Reviewers also mention a ComboBoost on accumulators, from 25% up to 300% depending on the number of legs. Our accumulator calculator shows the base return before any boost.

Joining N1Bet

  1. Open n1bet.ng and choose Sign up.
  2. Enter your email or phone number, a password and your personal details, and confirm you are 18 or older.
  3. Confirm your contact details through the link or code N1Bet sends.
  4. Complete verification by uploading ID in your profile. Reviews say this also unlocks the ₦1,000 verification free bet.
  5. Make your first deposit and check the bonus page for the current offer.

Sports and markets

Reviewers counted more than 40 sports, mostly football, with odds from 1.01 up to 1000.0 and margins of roughly 2% to 4.5% on main markets. N1Bet also prices politics and entertainment specials, which few Nigerian books offer. Lower-tier African football is thinner than at local bookmakers, so check before planning a slip around the NPFL.

Live betting, streams and cash out

Live betting covers dozens of sports, though reviewers note bets can take 5 to 6 seconds to be accepted. Streams cover major events and there is a filter that shows only games with video. Cash out is full only: you cannot take part of a slip and leave the rest running. Read our guide to live betting for in-play basics.

N1 Casino

N1 Interactive Africa also holds an NLRC casino permit for N1 Casino, which has its own app. We could not confirm Aviator or virtual sports on n1bet.ng, so both show as not published.

Mobile betting

Reviewers found a casino app for Android and iOS but no dedicated sportsbook app, so sports punters use the mobile site in the browser. It works on most phones, but expect higher data use than with lightweight local apps. See our betting apps comparison for alternatives.

Payments and withdrawals

Nigerian payment options reported by reviewers include bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard and Verve cards, Paystack, USSD and Bitcoin, with Tether also mentioned. Reported limits are ₦1,000 to ₦5,000 for deposits, ₦1,500 to ₦500,000 for bank and Paystack withdrawals and ₦3,500 to ₦2,000,000 for Bitcoin. Bitcoin payouts are described as near instant, while bank transfers reportedly take 3 to 10 days. These figures are not dated 2025 or 2026, so the fact table leaves them as not published.

Tip: if you use crypto, send a small test amount first and double-check the network and wallet address. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed.

Support channels

Live chat starts with a chatbot and is reported to run from 07:00 to midnight. Email goes to support@n1bet.ng, and N1Bet is active on Telegram, Instagram, Facebook and X. No phone line was found.

Who N1Bet is for

N1Bet suits crypto users and punters who want streams and specials, as long as they accept the licence caveats. Most Nigerian punters, especially in Lagos, are better served by a bookmaker on the state register, such as BetKing. If crypto is the main draw, read our Stake review first: Lagos and 24 other states declared that site illegal in September 2026.

7.1/10

Our verdict on N1Bet

N1Bet suits experienced punters who want Bitcoin payments, many sports and live streams, and who are comfortable with free bet style bonuses. It is a weaker choice for beginners. Its NLRC permit only applies in the FCT since the 2024 Supreme Court judgment, the NLRC list shows the sports permit period ending in March 2026, and we found no Lagos licence. Reviewers also report bank withdrawals taking 3 to 10 days. Check its licence status and current bonus terms before you deposit.
